Omaha SEO Kick Start Campaign: Selection of Keywords

SEO_Big Red SEOBy now you should be noticing a trend with the services we have shared with you so far regarding our Kick Start Omaha SEO Campaign. For any SEO campaign to be successful, you need to have an understanding of all the steps within the SEO process. Search engine optimization campaigns can be very overwhelming. With that being said, visit our past articles that include other services within our Kick Start Campaign.

It is a huge benefit if all the services are completed at the same time within an search engine optimization campaign. If you have a low budget, you can perform some things on your own like the creation of Title Tags (remember to optimize them), keyword research/selection and blog creation!  Below, we have provided information regarding the fourth service we include in our Omaha Kick Start Campaign. Enjoy!

Selection of Keywords

Selection of keywords is by far one of the longest sections of any Omaha SEO Campaign (Kick Start or ongoing), and the process will continue throughout the Omaha search engine optimization campaign. Our Omaha SEO Team utilize dedicated software to help determine what keywords receive the most traffic. They will determine what the possibility of a conversion rate is and how much worth would these keywords be if a company decided to perform a Pay Per Click (PPC) Campaign. When we propose an SEO Kick Start plan, the selection of words process can take from 12 to 30 hours and even longer depending on the industry. Why? We look at all keywords within the industry. If you are selling the product in a designated location like Omaha , that will narrow the search even further. We then  perform a competitor analysis which takes a look at your competitor’s keywords today and how those keywords are working for them.

Selection of keywords is very similar to the competition research and evaluation section, except that we get into the math equation. For example: we have a chiropractor that is located in Ralston, Nebraska. He wanted us to target “Ralston Chiropractor” as a keyword. When we completed the search, we found that the keyword Ralston Chiropractor only received ten keyword searches a month. What does this mean? If he was ranked on page one, position one, he would have the possibility of getting ten people actually clicking into his website. Now, everyone knows that sales revolve around numbers, so we can roughly say he might get one conversion out of those ten visits…and this is on a good day. As Nebraska SEO Consultants, we had to bear this bad news, we offered to still rank him but also proposed that we focus on the keyword “Omaha Chiropractor” which receives 3,600 visits a month. Wow, that is quite a difference in numbers! Again, it all comes down to doing research and finding out which keywords will get you the quality traffic you want. If you are interested in learning more on how our SEO Team select keywords feel free to check out our article, “KEI, another acronym within SEO“.

Omaha Search Engine Optimization is not just one section but multiple layers of optimization, research and equations that work together. The Kick Start Campaign is very close to a monthly SEO campaign. The main difference between them is that it is a onetime launch. Ongoing SEO campaigns require constant research, increased volume of quality links along with a strategy to maintain current search engine rankings.

Following the above recommendations are included with any Kick Start SEO Campaign by Big Red SEO. Do you have questions about Search Engine Optimization (SEO)? Contact Big Red SEO at (402) 522-6468.
