At times, I give too much information away. I tell them not only what they need done online but a clear and precise plan to make their company visually recognized. You are probably saying to yourself, “Ok, so why would you give this information away?” It’s simple and honestly, everyone has the ability to do their own Search Engine Optimization.

    SEO is really basic information. It’s how fast you get the results that poses the real challenge. There are firms in the Internet marketing world that will give you “results guaranteed“. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but with Google running the show, one thing you will learn quickly in the SEO and SEM world is that Google changes rules, guidelines and policies often.     Two Methods of SEO

    When I sit across from someone and give them all details on how to do my job, they often seem shocked. They might ask me, “Why should I go with you and not do it myself?” A chuckle naturally comes out and I simply ask them, “Do you have the time?” and then follow with, “Why would you want to re-learn what I know?” There are two methods of SEO: Pay Per Click and Organic, and it is important to understand the difference.

    • Pay Per Click (PPC) is utilized by a companies wanting results quickly. At Big Red SEO we have found that PPC is ideal for the real estate industry due to the quick turn around time of selling homes and businesses. Depending on how big their budget is, the results can show within weeks or the first two months of a Pay Per Click campaign. Clients that have a lot of competitors in their market and who want results the quickest will usually pick this method.
    • Organic SEO is a process that takes a little longer to present results. With a typical organic search engine optimization plan, results will appear two to four months after the campaign has been started.

    How Simple is It?

    SEO can be simple; get your website clean, maximize your website landscape, invest in a WordPress template, get quality back links (and keep them at quality level), blog consistently with unique and valid information and most importantly, select the most efficient keywords for your SEO and SEM goals.
